[A full-page advertisement without an outer frame. A double-rule outline with pointed (gabled) top and bottom encloses the text, and at each of its four corners stands a drawing of a chainring in black and white: the two at the top with five-armed star spiders, the two at the bottom with three-armed open spiders. The opening line is in hand-lettered script, the qualities in light italic capitals, the product name and “PERSIB-LUX” in very heavy condensed capitals (the latter with a staggered, slightly rising baseline), and the maker’s name and address in sans serif of decreasing size, with black dots as ornaments between the blocks. Agency mark “Pub. : S.O.S.P.” in small type set at a slant along the lower right of the outline. Type from the reverse of the leaf shows through the paper.]

[This advertisement shares page 86 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Gautherot and Vita, each held here as its own record, and one for the Guiller A.M.C. motorcycle.]
