[An unruled advertisement in black occupying most of a page. At the upper left a black panel, cut with a slanted edge, carries “Dès” in a white copperplate script and “Aujourd’hui” in white condensed capitals. At the upper right a pen-and-ink drawing shows a young man in a shirt and a young woman in a sleeveless blouse and skirt riding bicycles side by side toward the viewer, with solid black shadows under the wheels. “Roulez et pédalez” is set in spaced bold capitals and “avec” in a black brush script. A large oval loop drawn as a single swelling line encloses “Les inimitables chaînes et pédales” in sans-serif capitals, its tail ending in a dot that forms the dot of the “i” in “Union”, which stands across the foot in very large heavy black uncial-style letters. A small shield with the letter “U” sits at the left of the oval. A black slanted band at the foot carries the agent’s name, Éts William Dumont, and its Paris address in white italic and condensed capitals. No artist’s signature is visible in the drawing.]

[This advertisement shares page 92 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Dunois and SBAFM, each held here as its own record.]
