[A full-width advertisement with its upper edge cut across the heads of the figures. A black panel at the upper left carries “Dès” in white script above “AUJOURD’HUI” in white condensed capitals. At the right a line drawing in black ink with solid shadows shows a man and a woman riding side by side toward the viewer on two bicycles, the man’s machine with drop handlebars and the woman’s with upright bars, the pair cast in a dark shadow on the ground. At the left the phrase “ROULEZ ET PEDALEZ” is set in spaced bold capitals above the script word “avec”. A large flat oval outline holds the lines “LES INIMITABLES”, “CHAINES” and “ET PÉDALES” in capitals of increasing weight, and a small shield containing the letter U stands at its lower left. The name “UNION” fills the lower part in very large heavy slab capitals, its I topped by a black dot joined to the oval. A black band slanting at the right end carries the distributor’s name, address and telephone in white capitals at the foot. No signature or artist mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 98 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for SIM, held here as its own record, and others for the Bauriat rear seat for motor machines and the Macombynn motorcyclist overall.]
