[A ruled advertisement in black and cream, with its upper corners rounded. A dark band across the top carries “Sonnclair !…” in large white brush script, with a small boxed mark reading “SOSP” running vertically at its upper left. Beneath the band a large round bicycle bell is drawn in line engraving with curved hatching, seen from above, with a domed cap at its center and a round lever tab at the left lettered with the name Sonnclair and a word of registration; a small stud shows under its lower rim. A thin black line runs down the right side of the picture and ends in an arrowhead pointing at the product line below. Four lines of widely spaced sans-serif type at the upper right describe the bell, followed by five centered capitals lines. “Avertisseur continu” is lettered below in large black brush script, with a line of small spaced capitals beneath it. A long horizontal figure-eight loop stretches across the width of the page over the distributor’s name “LACHÈVRE”, set in very large heavy black capitals. The distributor’s role and address run in a line of sans-serif type along the foot. A signature reading “B. Chagnon.” runs vertically up the right margin beside the address line. A thin crack in the printing runs down from the top edge across the heading.]

[This advertisement shares page 178 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Mafac, held here as its own record, and one for Mijno sprockets and chains for motor machines.]
