[An upright advertisement without an outer rule, printed in black on the untinted paper. The head is a solid black panel with rounded corners whose lower edge is cut away in a long wedge toward the right, and the brand is lettered across it in a large white brush script closed by an exclamation mark and three dots. Below it at the left a cycle bell is drawn very large in line engraving, seen almost face on: a domed black cover with highlights left white and hatched, a smaller domed thumb plate set on it, a spindle boss below, and at the left a small round plate drawn in outline and lettered round its rim with the trade name and the registration word, joined to the bell by a short arm. At the right a block of light letter-spaced sans-serif sets the selling text in seven short lines, and below it five one-word claims are ranged in sans-serif capitals. A long thin arrow runs down from the head panel past the right of the text and turns in at the foot to point at the line below. That line is a wide black brush script naming the product, with a line of letter-spaced sans-serif capitals under it. A single long thin line is drawn across the panel as a flattened figure of eight, and under it the agent’s name is set in very large bold sans-serif capitals, with its trade line in small letter-spaced capitals and the street address, arrondissement and telephone line as the last line. The agency mark “SOSP” is set in small white capitals one under another reading downward in the black at the top left corner, and the signature “B. Chagnon” is set in small capitals and lower case reading upward at the right edge beside the agent’s name. Large letters from the reverse of the leaf show through across the upper half.]
