[A landscape advertisement framed only by four heavy black corner brackets, printed in black on the untinted paper. The trade name runs across the head in very large outlined capitals drawn in perspective, each letter given a solid drop shadow at its right. The two product words are lettered in an open sans serif in the upper corners, and a brush script line runs down to the right below the second, closed by a long tapering stroke. The lower two thirds are filled by a single large drawing of a motorcycle in left profile, worked in shaded wash and halftone against the blank paper with no background and no rider: a telescopic front fork with a round headlamp and a small instrument above it, straight handlebars, a rounded tank with an oval badge lettered with the brand, a sprung single saddle and a pillion pad, a finned single-cylinder engine over an oil tank lettered with a second name, plunger rear suspension, deep valanced mudguards and knobbed tires, the front hub drawn open to show the brake. Two lines of drawn capitals, the makers and then the town with the department in brackets, close the page at the lower right, under the rear of the machine. Faint type from the reverse of the leaf shows through in the upper right of the panel. No signature or agency mark appears.]
[This advertisement shares page 82 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for AMAC carburetors.]
