[A ruled advertisement in magenta and black, printed inside a thin frame. Across the top “JANTES et GUIDONS” is set in large magenta roman capitals and lowercase, with “pour CYCLES” beneath it in black roman type between two short double rules. Centered below is the maker’s winged mark: a round magenta medallion carrying “MADE IN FRANCE” in small white capitals over “PIVO” in large outlined black capitals, with a halftone pink wing of overlapping feathers at each side and a small ringed bead at the top and the bottom. A magenta line of capitals follows, “SÉCURITÉ, LEGÈRETÉ, ÉLEGANCE”. The center of the panel is a black rectangle holding a halftone photograph, lit from the side, of two cycle parts: at the upper right a drop handlebar with its quill stem and wedge bolt, and at the lower left a large oval wheel rim with a row of spoke holes along its edge. Below the photograph the firm’s name “ETABLISSEMENTS ALLES” is set in large magenta italic capitals, with the street address and the telephone number in bold black type, then a small black triangle pointing down and “Salon du Cycle” in italic with the stand number beneath. No artist signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 62 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Hutchinson, held here as its own record.]
