[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a tall panel inside a heavy outer rule with a thinner rule drawn within it. The upper half carries a line engraving of five playing cards spread as a fan, each drawn in plain outline and marked with the figure 1 above a small suit symbol in fine hatching, a heart, a spade, a diamond and two clubs; a larger club, hatched in the same manner, is drawn free of the cards at the right. Across the fan the words “Vous aurez beau jeu” are lettered in a looping handwritten script that rises from the lower left to the upper right, with “avec …” in the same script at the right below. The marque is set in the middle of the panel inside a long drawn lozenge with rounded ends and a small circle at each end, “PICARD-FAYOLLE” lettered in heavy outlined sans-serif capitals with the two names joined by a dot. The slogan runs under it in two lines of the same large handwritten script. The address closes the panel on one line of light letterspaced capitals, set inside the inner rule at the foot. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]
