PUB. S.O.S.P.

[An upright panel inside a thin black rule, printed in black on the untinted paper. The head line is lettered in a sloped script and under it the product word runs very large in heavy drawn capitals with rounded bowls, the first letter towering over the rest. Below that, at the left, three short lines in bold sans-serif name the machines, the small connecting words set between them. The middle of the panel carries a line engraving of two pannier bags hung over a carrier, seen from the front left and above: the near bag square-cut with a flap, two long buckled straps and a small pocket with its own buckled flap, the far bag showing behind it, both drawn in a fine net hatching that reads as a woven or grained material, with a stiff handle at the right. In front of them at the lower left a flat tool wallet is drawn in the same way, long and shallow, with a rounded flap and a single buckle. Two words in a drawn script with a rule under them sit to the right of the bags. The brand follows in very large bold sloped capitals over a heavy rule, with its registration line in capitals beneath and a solid black triangle pointing down below that, while at the left two lines of bold capitals name the tool wallet, also over a rule. One line of drawn script runs the full width above the foot. A solid black box closes the panel with three lines reversed out in white: the firm’s name in large bold capitals with raised letters, the street in capitals, and the town, department and telephone on the last line. The agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P.” is set in very small black italic capitals reading upward in the right margin. No second color is used and no other signature appears.]
