[An advertisement in a plain frame, taller than wide. “Manufacture de” runs across the top in a decorative script above “Bissacs” in very large black hand-drawn letters. At the right is a halftone-shaded drawing of a pair of panniers (bissac) in a check-pattern fabric, joined by a top panel with four eyelets for the carrier, each bag closed by two leather straps with a small outer pocket; at the lower left a separate tool bag with a strap and buckle. The brand “MAPHAL” is set in heavy italic capitals over “MARQUE DÉPOSÉE” and a small downward-pointing triangle; the firm’s name and address run white on a black band along the foot. The agency mark “PUB S.O.S.P” is printed vertically, small, at the lower right inside the frame. There is no artist’s signature.]

[This advertisement shares page 144 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Maxi-Car, M.D.L., Indéca, La Vipère and Uldry, each held here as its own record, and others for La Maison de la Moto, Mérat seats for motor machines and Ferrand clothing.]
