Les productions Aimé LEDIN

[Ebykr summary; the article’s text is not reproduced. For more than half a century this house, founded in 1903, has made the Tank, Merveille and Styx pedals and freewheels. It has created and launched many fashionable models, and the marque Tank has become a generic name. It has always sought to deliver articles of the very first quality, and its reputation is undisputed in France and throughout the world. No technical progress is foreign to it, and its modern tooling, often designed and built by its own departments, is always adapted to needs, so as to obtain the best results in finish, sturdiness and presentation at the lowest cost price. Whatever the possibilities of the market, the Établissements Aimé Ledin, of Saint-Étienne (printed « Saint-Etienne »), have never relaxed their policy of quality first, which explains the longevity of the house, the regularity of its rise and the aptness of its slogan: « Le prix s’oublie, la qualité reste. »]

[A column notice, text only and without a drawing. The heading is set right-aligned in bold roman with the surname in capitals. The body is italic with small-capital surnames; one phrase on modern tooling is in bold roman. A solid round ornament closes the notice below the last line. No signature or address line is visible.]
