[A large advertisement in black and white, set on the sloping edge of a solid black panel. In the black panel at the upper left a vertical signature reads “Chagnon” beside a small boxed “SOSP”. Down the slanted edge the words CYCLES, MOTOS and SCOOTERS run in brush-lettered capitals, white on the black and black on the light ground, with a star after CYCLES. Along the right edge a column of widely spaced sans-serif lines lists the range. Three line drawings of luggage in heavy pen hatching stand in a diagonal cascade: a large buckled saddlebag with a front pocket, a laced and strapped bag with side stripes and a flat leather satchel with a single buckle. At the lower left a round white-ringed seal on the black panel shows a bison’s head in profile with the ring text “ÉQUIPEMENT ÉLÉGANT RÉSISTANT” and “LE BISON”. A script line in black brush letters runs beneath the drawings, and the maker’s name appears in heavy condensed capitals with the address set at the right in light capitals.
