[A ruled advertisement in black and white, text only, with no drawing or photograph. The panel is enclosed by a wavy double-weight black border. “ATELIERS DU DORLAY” runs across the top in large condensed sans-serif capitals, with the small word “DU” set lower. Under it the head office address is given in bold italic and bold sans-serif type, and the second address is underlined with a double rule. The body is built as five centered groups of text in bold sans-serif lowercase and capitals, separated by short horizontal rules: the general description, a list of frame parts joined by dashes, “FOURCHES ÉLASTIQUES” in large heavy capitals with a line of spaced lowercase beneath, the luggage-rack note with two names in quotation marks and a final list of small parts. The Paris sales shop and export service close the panel, set in condensed capitals, bold italic and a last line of small bold type with a raised “e” after the arrondissement number. No artist signature or agency mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 140 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Lambert et Cagnon and E.D, each held here as its own record.]
