[A ruled advertisement in black and white with heavy dark bands across the head and foot and a heavy vertical rule down each side. The upper band holds “La meilleure performance” in a flowing script reversed out in white, with two lines of bold sans-serif beneath it, also reversed out. In the open field at the left a pedal seen from the side and slightly above, with a cage cut out in the shape of the word “TANK” on both plates and a threaded axle at the right, is drawn in fine line engraving. At the right a freewheel with a stack of toothed sprockets is drawn in the same manner; its ring carries engraved lettering that reads “TANK B”, “BTE S.G.D.G.” and “DEVISSEZ” with an arrow. Two blocks of light spaced capitals, one at the upper right and one at the left, caption the drawings, and a short rule sits beneath the left caption. The lower band carries “PÉDALES et ROUES LIBRES” in bold capitals reversed out, a white panel with the three brand names in heavy capitals separated by round dots and the maker’s name and town reversed out below. A last white panel with a beveled border at the foot gives the export agent’s name and address in a small roman. No artist signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 116 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Pivo, L’Emboutissage Industriel and Dunois, each held here as its own record.]
