[An upright advertisement built as three bands, printed in black on the untinted paper. The head is a solid black box in which the first line is lettered in a sloped white script and the two lines under it in a rounded white sans-serif. The middle band is open paper held between two tall solid black bars that run down the left and right edges, and it carries two line engravings set diagonally against their captions: at the upper left a rat-trap pedal seen from the side and slightly above, its cage plates cut out in the shapes of the letters of the brand and its spindle and dust cap drawn at the left, the metal modeled in fine engraved hatching; at the lower right a block freewheel seen face on, its teeth and body shaded in close engraved lines, the hub face lettered around the thread with the brand name, the words “Bte S.G.D.G.” and an arrow with the word “DÉVISSER”. The captions are set in letter-spaced sans-serif capitals, the pedal’s to the upper right and the freewheel’s to the left, with a short rule under the second and a two-line italic note beneath it. The foot is a second solid black box holding one white line of capitals, then the three brand names very large in black capitals reversed inside a long white panel and divided by white dots, and under them the firm’s name and town in white capitals and lower case. Below the black box, on open paper, one line of bold capitals gives the show, its hall and its stand number. No second color is used and no signature or agency mark appears. Type from the reverse of the leaf shows faintly through the open paper at the upper right and in the left margin.]

[This advertisement shares page 175 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Sova, held here as its own record.]
