[A ruled advertisement in black and white inside a thin single-line frame, with a large halftone field of fine dots that fills the left and lower part of the panel. At the top a small white label carries “MOYEUX ROUE LIBRE ET FREIN” in bold italic sans serif capitals. Across the middle the word “Torpedo” stands in very large heavy script lettering, outlined in white against the dotted field, with a black bar beneath it holding a white rounded label that reads “D’ORIGINE” in spaced capitals. At the right the slogan “un modèle pour chaque usage” is set in a slanted brush script and underlined with a single stroke. On the dotted field a line drawing with hatched shading shows a rear hub with a toothed sprocket at its right end and a long barrel with a flange at each end, a looped fitting on top, and a brake arm and clip at the left. The barrel carries small lettering that reads “F&S Schweinfurt”, “Torpedo”, “System Sachs” and “D.R.P.”, and the arm is lettered “Torpedo”. At the right three black tabs, each with the white script “Torpedo”, introduce the three versions in spaced sans serif capitals and italic type. A black trapezoid at the foot carries the distributor’s name and address in reversed white capitals of several sizes. A printed line “HALL DU CYCLE : Stand 53” sits under the frame, followed by a stray vertical stroke. No artist’s signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 148 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Gallet and Ferrebœuf, each held here as its own record.]
