[A landscape advertisement inside a thin rule, its panel a black ground with rounded corners and everything on it reversed out in the cream of the paper. At the left a coaster hub is drawn large in white line engraving, lying at an angle with its sprocket behind it as a reserved white sunburst, the barrel shaded with fine lines and carrying the maker’s name, the brand, the system and the patent line in small lettering down its length, with a trade mark roundel between them; the brake arm with its clamp lies loose in the foreground at the lower left, lettered with the brand. The headline stands at the upper right, the first word in a white brush script with an exclamation mark and the two lines under it in bold white sans-serif capitals, and under them the brand is set very large in a heavy white script with a long underswash, the word of origin in a white box beneath. Two lines of white capitals and then a bolder white line close the right side. The production claim is set in black on the white of the sprocket disc at the center. A white flag, tilted up to the right and cut with a zigzag edge at the top where it crosses the sprocket, carries the four-line Salon address in black. Across the foot a wide white panel with rounded corners holds the distributor’s name in heavy black capitals, two lines of letter-spaced black capitals under it and the street address and telephone line below. The agency mark “Pub. Cadot” is set in small black capitals and lower case at the bottom right, outside the white panel.]
