[An upright advertisement printed in black and a second color, a light green, without a frame: the design is cut as a shield or escutcheon, square at the shoulders and drawn to a point at the foot, and it is divided into four quarters, green over black at the top and black over green below, with a flat drop shadow down the right side and along the bottom. Above the shield, breaking out of it, a cyclist is printed as a solid black silhouette, a woman in a short-sleeved top riding a loaded upright machine with a pannier and a saddlebag, and behind her a sunburst of long green rays fans across the white paper; short white strokes at the front of the lamp show it alight. The trade name runs across the head of the shield in heavy slab-like capitals with large initial and terminal letters, reversed out in white with a black shadow where it crosses the green and in black where it crosses the white. Filling the center of the shield is a large headlamp, drawn in three-quarter view in shaded wash over green: a round fluted glass in a chromium rim with a ribbed visor, the brand name stamped across a raised bar below the visor, and the mounting bracket showing at the lower right. Two short lines of small capitals sit against the waist of the shield, one at the left and one at the right. Low on the shield three lines of bold sans-serif capitals are set in alternating black and green, the middle line flanked by ruled bars. The stand line is set in bold italic on the white paper below the point of the shield. A script signature is written in light ink across the dark band at the lower right of the shield and is too faint to read.]
