[A horizontal half-page advertisement in black on cream, its frame a single rule broken at the head by a large black oval and at the foot by the last line. The oval holds “SBAFM” in tall cream capitals shaded in depth with fine horizontal hatching, the “F” and “M” run together. The firm’s full name is set in condensed black capitals to either side of it, with the Cusset address and telephone in bold beneath the oval. Every product is a plain pen drawing: at the left a stacked card of cable housing with a coil looped through a round “BOURBONNEX” label, lettered “GAINE” and with a small maker’s line at its foot; at the right a square packet lettered “CÂBLE de FREIN” holding a coiled cable around a “METAFIL” label, with “15/10” and “1,60” in circles at its lower corners; in the center three springs (a coil spring, a torsion spring and a bent wire clip); below them a single spoke; across the foot a complete brake cable with its adjusters and end fittings. Each group carries its name in bold sans-serif capitals. No signature is visible. A strip of type from the neighboring column shows at the right edge.]
