[A ruled advertisement in black and white, enclosed by a thin rule with a heavy bar across the top and the foot. The marque name “REIDUOR” runs across the upper right in very heavy sans-serif capitals, with a thick rule beneath it; the claims follow in light spaced sans-serif capitals, the dynamo line in heavy sans-serif capitals between two rules, and the quoted line below, closed by a short centered rule. At the upper left a line engraving shows the “28” dynamo upright on its bracket, its body ruled with fine vertical shading lines and carrying a shield-shaped badge lettered REIDUOR over the figure 28, with a knurled cap at the top and the driving roller and clamp at the foot. Three further line engravings fill the lower half: at the left a large teardrop headlamp seen from the front three-quarter, its fluted lens and chromed body drawn in outline with heavy shading, mounted on a long shaped bracket; at the upper right a second lamp of wedge form seen from behind, drawn in outline with ruled shading; at the lower right a wedge-shaped rear lamp or reflector seen in three-quarter, its sides in stippled wash and its round lens drawn as a field of faceted cells, the mounting foot carrying raised lettering too small to read. The slogan “REIDUOR = QUALITÉ” sits at the lower left in heavy sans-serif capitals above a rule, with the works address and telephone in small capitals and bold roman under it. No second color is used, no signature or agency mark appears, and no text from the reverse of the leaf shows through.]
