ARANDEL
[A full-page advertisement, text only but for the trade mark, printed in black and a second color, a light green, on the untinted paper. A thin green rule turns down each side of the page and stops short at the top and the foot, framing the matter without closing it. The heading is set in bold sans-serif capitals, black on the first line, and under it the trade name is drawn very large in green as a heavy sans serif whose letters are cut across by white speed lines, the O replaced by a radiating sunburst; the two lines under it, the ranges and the stand number, are set in black and in green capitals. The body is set in a bold sans serif, the opening paragraph full measure and the three short paragraphs under it centered, each separated by a small green ornament of three, three, two and then one little lamps lying on their sides. A green brush-script line of thanks runs across the page below the text. At the foot the trade name is repeated at the same size in green, with the silhouette of a cyclist seen head on, standing on the pedals, printed over the sunburst O; a solid green bar at its right carries the town in reversed capitals, and two lines of bold capitals at the left, the first black and the second black and then green, close the panel. The stand line is set in bold italic below. The signature “ARANDEL” is set in small black capitals at the lower right.]
