[A ruled advertisement in a heavy rounded frame, drawn in line work. A freewheel sprocket cluster stands at the upper center like a sun, with long wavy rays spreading from it, and the words “PACKSON” and “PERFECTION” curve round its hub. A banner of heavy brush-script lettering, “un Soleil qui luit…”, arcs over the top of the sun. At the right a black panel carries “… pour tous les CYCLISTES” in reversed lettering, the first line in script and the last in decorative capitals. The lower third shows two groups of cyclists drawn in line: at the left a young woman in a polka-dot blouse and two companions on bicycles and a tandem, and at the right racing riders in jerseys with numbers 4, 10 and 22 on their backs, with a single distant rider between the groups. The monogram “R F” is drawn in the lower left corner of the picture. The maker’s name and address sit in a separate narrow ruled strip beneath the frame, its first word partly faded. No text from the reverse of the leaf is clearly visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 24 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Courson and Montcoudiol, each held here as its own record, and one for the Guiller motorcycles.]
