[A full-height illustrated advertisement in a heavy black frame with rounded corners. A Packson Perfection freewheel, drawn large and lettered with its name on the body, stands in the upper half as a rising sun, with long wavy rays spreading all around it; the slogan “un Soleil qui luit…” arches over it in brush lettering on a black ribbon, and its sequel “… pour tous les CYCLISTES” is reversed out in white on a black panel at the right. Below the rays, a crowd of cyclists rides away from the viewer toward the sun: at the left a woman in a polka-dot blouse and two men on touring bicycles, one waving, with a lone rider in the distance at the center; at the right racers in jerseys with crossed musettes and numbers 22, 4 and 10 on their backs. Signed “R.F” at the lower left of the drawing, inside the frame. The firm’s name and town are set in a ruled strip below the frame. No agency mark.]

[This advertisement shares page 129 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for S.I.B., held here as its own record.]
