[A full-height ruled advertisement in black and white, drawn in line with hatched shading. A heavy rounded frame encloses the picture and a thin boxed line below it carries the maker’s name and town in bold sans-serif. At the top a banner curves across the sky with the words “un soleil qui luit…” in hand-lettered script, following the arc of a large freewheel sprocket that stands as a sun in the center, its teeth shaded and its hub ring lettered “PACKSON PERFECTION”, with long wavy rays streaming out around it. At the right a dark box holds reversed script “… pour tous les” above the word CYCLISTES in tall display capitals. Along the bottom a group of cyclists is seen from behind in a cartoon style: at the left a young couple and a girl ride bicycles, one with a rear carrier, waving toward the sun; at the right three racing cyclists wear numbers 22, 4 and 10 on their backs with straps across their shoulders, and a figure in a cap stands behind them; a lone rider is far off in the distance. The artist’s initials “R.F” are signed small in the lower left corner of the drawing. Part of the town name in the address line is damaged and cannot be read.]

[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Christophe, held here as its own record, and one for the Morel handlebar switch.]
