[A full-page advertisement printed in black and a leaf green, framed by a thick green rule. A heading in black italic, “Les Équipes :”, opens the panel above a justified list of team names in plain capitals, with the Swiss teams on a last line in lowercase lead-in. Below, a large halftone photograph of a bicycle frame head joint runs down the center: a threaded steering column at the top, a flat tube end entering from the right, a long diagonal tube running to the lower right, and a fork crown with one fork blade at the lower left. Green lettering is overprinted on the photograph in several styles: green italic “ont choisi la”, the word “SÉRIE” in widely spaced heavy capitals, the name “NERVEX” in outlined condensed capitals inside a green rectangular frame with a double rule, “PROFESSIONNEL” in heavy green capitals, and the italic lines “…qui les a conduites à la” with “VICTOIRE” in large heavy capitals and “en 1954 dans :” in italic below. Under the photograph a justified paragraph in plain capitals lists the 1954 races, with the names of several of the major classics set in bold. A black rule closes the list, and the firm’s name is set below it in condensed black capitals with the street address and city in lighter spaced type. No artist signature is visible and no text shows through from the reverse of the leaf.]
