NERVAR

Ets PEYRARD
3, rue Pasteur
St-Chamond (Loire) – Tél. 4.78

[A boxed advertisement printed in black with a blue second color, enclosed in a thin blue rule. A large halftone drawing of a chainring with its crank arm dominates the upper half: an oval ring with a toothed rim and curved spokes joined to the crank, tilted so the crank points down toward the lettering, with groups of thin parallel speed lines trailing from its upper right. The name NERVAR is set in very large black angular capitals that slope up from lower left to upper right, drawn as a solid slanting ribbon whose letters the crank appears to pierce. At the lower right the maker’s name, street and town are set in blue, with the town and telephone number in a bold condensed face. No signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 64 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Persib-Lux and Cukier, each held here as its own record.]
