To ensure that the MOTOBECANE bicycles are manufactured in accordance with the regulations of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), MOTOBECANE commissioned the independent laboratory UTAC. Their procedures include the determination of frame strength, vibrational analysis, fatigue test, load test, etc.

Your authorized MOTOBECANE dealer will professionally assemble any MOTOBECANE bicycle you purchase from him. Adjustment and alignment are the most important factors to ensure that the bicycle is safe to ride, in top performing order and custom-adjusted to the physical needs of its rider.

MOTOBECANE LIMITED WARRANTY

MOTOBECANE bicycles and component parts are warranted to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship in accordance with the following terms and conditions. MOTOBECANE will repair or replace, at no charge to the original retail purchaser, for an unlimited time, the frame and fork of any MOTOBECANE bicycle determined by MOTOBECANE to be defective under the terms of this warranty. EXCEPT this limited warranty does not cover dealer labor charges incurred in the replacement of a defective frame and fork after one (1) year of the date of original retail purchase. The frame and/or fork may be replaced at the option of MOTOBECANE, either by a similar frame and/or fork or an equivalent frame and/or fork, according to availability, seasonal model and color modifications. MOTOBECANE will repair or replace, at no charge to the original retail purchaser, for a period of six (6) months from the date of original retail purchase, any MOTOBECANE component part determined to be defective under the terms of this warranty. “MOTOBECANE SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DURING THE FIRST YEAR AFTER THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE, UNLESS THE WARRANTY SERVICE PERFORMED DURING THIS ONE YEAR PERIOD IS PERFORMED BY AN AUTHORIZED MOTOBECANE DEALER.” A PART CE 4EME PARAGRAPHE, LA GARANTIE EST ACCEPTABLE SUS SA FORME ACTUELLE. IN NO EVENT SHALL MOTOBECANE BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THE ABOVE EXPRESS WARRANTY ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES THEREFORE. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING A WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE WHICH EXTENDS BEYOND THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

This bicycle is designed for normal on-street use. It is not designed or sold for use under any circumstances in motocross, stunt riding or similar activities. No power-driven fixture should be adapted on this bicycle. This limited warranty shall become null and void in the event of a violation of the provisions of this limited warranty. It is required that the original retail purchaser keep this warranty certificate in purchaser’s possession after being duly completed and countersigned by the MOTOBECANE dealer from whom the bicycle was purchased. ANY CLAIM MADE UNDER THIS WARRANTY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THIS WARRANTY CERTIFICATE. Contact the local authorized MOTOBECANE dealer from whom you purchased your bicycle for service or replacement under this MOTOBECANE LIMITED WARRANTY.
