[A double-page advertisement across two leaves, printed in black and white with one spot color, magenta. A huge heavy black sans-serif headline runs across the top of both pages. At the left a large magenta oval holds a halftone cutout photograph of a touring bicycle seen from behind and above, with a leather saddle, a rear carrier, turned-down drop handlebars, a headlamp on the front fork and a derailleur at the rear wheel; the cutout has a thick white outline. A black wedge of reversed letters points at it from the upper right, and spaced black capitals and a price in italic sit below and beside the oval. At the upper right a smaller halftone cutout shows a child’s bicycle with a chain guard, white tires and a stabilizer wheel at the rear, with a justified paragraph of small sans-serif text and a price in italic to its right. Below it a black panel holds two smaller halftone cutouts, a boy’s bicycle with a crossbar frame above and a girl’s step-through bicycle below, with the two model names and prices set at the left in reversed letters and a justified paragraph in reversed type beneath them. A two-line headline in heavy magenta slab capitals and lower case crosses the middle of the lower half, and a line of black spaced capitals follows it. Along the foot a wide black band carries the firm names in very large reversed white capitals with small spaced capitals above and below, and a final line in a rounded reversed face; a line of small type under the band gives the hall and stand number. The leaves meet in the center, where the gutter has hidden several letters from nearly every line crossing it, and the left edge of the right-hand leaf overlaps the left leaf, losing a few letters at the start of the right-hand text lines. A faint mirror image of print from the reverse of the leaf shows along the right edge. No artist signature or agency mark is visible.]
