[A long, narrow horizontal advertisement in a thin frame with rounded corners. At the center, a black panel carries “MARQUEZ VOS MACHINES AVEC LA” in white capitals, with an arrow pointing down to the word “DECALCOMANIE” in very tall, heavy condensed capitals whose letters break out of the panel’s foot, the firm’s name and address below. At each side, a black transfer sheet drawn tilted, with a corner curling up to show its backing, carries a list in white capitals: at the left the firm’s own-brand transfers, at the right its standard sets in envelopes, with samples and prices on request. The right-hand edge runs into the binding in the BnF’s photograph: the frame’s right side and the right edge of the right-hand sheet are lost, and the line ends “POCHETTES”, “SPÉCIALES” and “CYCLES” stand right at the edge, still legible. No signature or agency mark.]

[This advertisement shares page 138 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Bernardon, Ruhier, Larpenteur, Clément Italie, JB and Poirier, each held here as its own record, and others for Indor sewing-machine needles, ROB compressors and Omega sewing machines.]
