[A tall ruled advertisement in a heavy single frame. “LE TOURBILLON” runs across the upper third in very large outlined capitals with a shadow. Fine line drawings fill the right half: at the top a handlebar with a bell-shaped warning device clamped to it and a thumb lever, and below a fork crown and head tube with a front wheel, a brake and a long control rod running down to a large drum-shaped bell mounted against the tire, its face lettered “LE TOURBILLON”, “BREVETE S.G.D.G.” and a monogram. At the left a black oval carries the white interlaced letters “ROTA” as a monogram, and the text blocks below it are in spaced bold capitals, a script line, heavy capitals and light capitals, joined to the drawing by thin leader lines. The maker’s line and address close the panel at the foot. There is no artist signature.]
