[A full-height ruled advertisement with a double border, set in a centered column. Two lines of widely spaced sans-serif capitals open it, above a large black emblem of a Z with three horizontal bars inside a broken ring topped by a small notch and ending in a dot at the right. Bold sans-serif capitals follow, then the name “FAVORIT” in very large roman capitals between slanted quotation marks. Beneath it a thin-ruled box holds a halftone photograph of a hub seen from the side, with a toothed sprocket at the left, a drilled flange, an axle end and a curved lever arm with a clip at its tip. Under the box the chain lines are set in a condensed bold face and a lighter sans-serif, with a black dot below them. The distributor’s name and address stand at the foot in condensed capitals and bold capitals. No signature or artist mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 88 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for the VS-70 vélomoteur and the Indian motorcycle helmet.]
