[A full-page advertisement printed as one gray halftone panel, apparently a retouched photograph. Two laughing children ride side by side, leaning together toward the viewer on two children’s bicycles with upturned handlebars: a curly-haired boy in a shirt and shorts on the smaller machine at the left, and a girl with flying hair and a bow, in a checked dress, on the larger one at the right, one hand on her handlebar and the other around the boy, with a long pale scarf streaming up behind her. At the upper left “une production” is lettered faintly in outline above “FAC” in large white capitals, beside a small white figure of a running man with a cap, the firm’s mascot. The two-line slogan is lettered in a slanting script across the foot of the picture. Below it a black band carries, at the left, the “F.A.C” emblem, the initials in outlined capitals on a winged shield with horizontal speed lines, and at the right the firm’s name, description and address in white type, with “GROS – COMMISSION – EXPORTATION” in spaced italic capitals along the bottom. No signature or agency mark seen.]

[This advertisement shares page 43 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Popula and Henri Gauthier, each held here as its own record, and one for the Cicca Vélorêve auxiliary motor and Ténor horn.]
