[A full-panel advertisement in black and white, most of it a single halftone photograph. At the upper left “une production” in light lower-case type and “FAC” in heavy white sans-serif capitals stand on the gray sky, with a small white figure of a running boy, in cap and scarf, forming part of the mark. The photograph, retouched and partly cut out against a plain ground, shows two laughing children riding side by side toward the viewer at a steep tilt: a curly-haired boy in a shirt and shorts on the left and a girl with a bow in her dark hair, a checked dress and a long scarf flying out behind her on the right, her hand on the dropped bars. Two lines of bold italic type across the foot of the picture carry the slogan. A solid black band below holds, at the left, a white winged badge with horizontal speed lines lettered “F.A.C”, and at the right the firm’s name in white capitals with large initials, a line of bold italic type and the Clermont-Ferrand address in white capitals. “GROS – COMMISSION – EXPORTATION” runs along the bottom in widely spaced light italic capitals. There is no signature or studio credit on the photograph.]
[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Popula trailers, L. & J. Maréchal camping goods, Oryap saddlebags, the M.C.B. water carrier and Unic aluminum camping ware.]
