[A ruled advertisement in black and white, a large panel set on a solid black ground. A light rounded box across the head carries “Vendez la” and “celle du connaisseur :” in large flowing script with “REMORQUE “FAC”” in bold condensed capitals and “main, vélo moto” in small bold type. At the upper left a block of white spaced sans-serif capitals, reversed out of the black, lists the trailer’s qualities and the Michelin tires, weight and load. A broad light band crosses the panel on a diagonal, and in it a cartoon in open pen line shows a cheerful young figure in a cap running forward and drawing by its shafts a two-wheeled slatted hand trailer loaded with two tied sacks, with speed dashes around the wheel; along the lower edge of the band the slogan “devant la remorque “FAC” tout s’efface !” climbs in a hand-lettered sans-serif. At the lower right “DIRECTEMENT AU FABRICANT” and “50.000 en service” are reversed out in white capitals, and across the foot the firm’s name, its Clermont-Ferrand address and telephone number and “DEMANDEZ CATALOGUE” between quotation marks stand in white sans-serif capitals. There is no signature in the drawing. Faint text from the reverse of the leaf shows through in the middle of the light band.]
