[A ruled advertisement in black and white inside a heavy black frame with clipped corners that thickens into a solid band along the right side and across the foot. “COMPTEURS E.D” stands across the head in very heavy condensed capitals over a thick black rule, followed by a line in bold condensed roman, the model line in plain sans serif and “Cycles et Cyclomoteurs” in large rounded display letters. At the upper right a round magnetic speedometer is drawn in line engraving with fine hatching, its dial marked in kilometers up to 60 with a trip counter, mounted on a clamp; behind it the handlebar and fork of a bicycle are drawn in outline, a small second dial on the bar, the drive cable running down to the front hub. At the lower left a large cutaway of the D5 drive unit sits on a pale hexagonal panel with a curved arrow pointing to the same part fitted at the hub. The D5 text is set in hand-lettered sans serif at the left with a small target device below it, and “Pratique. Je monte toujours !” is written slantwise in script over a stippled dark wedge. “Hall du Cycle STAND 141” is lettered at the lower left, and the distributor’s name “C.E.C.A” with the address and telephone is reversed out in pale letters in the black foot band. The agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P” runs vertically in small capitals at the right of the wheel.]
