VENDEZ LE

CYCLOMETER (L. G.)

(FABRICATION SUISSE)

C’EST UN ARTICLE DE QUALITÉ
QUI VOUS SERA TRÈS DEMANDÉ

CASTIMA, 24, r. du Rocher, Paris (8e) LAB. 72-23

[A ruled advertisement in black and white, wide and low. At the left a square halftone photograph shows a small cylindrical counter device with a window of figures reading “96253” and a round end cap, seen at an angle beside a bracket. The text occupies the right two thirds inside a thin double rule. “VENDEZ LE” is set in bold italic capitals, “CYCLOMETER (L. G.)” in very heavy black sans-serif capitals, “(FABRICATION SUISSE)” in small spaced capitals, and the two-line slogan in large open sans-serif capitals with the word “QUALITÉ” in bold. A heavy rule above the foot line separates the distributor’s name and address, set in bold capitals and roman, with the telephone number in smaller capitals at the right. The first letter of the distributor’s name touches the edge of the panel. There is no signature.]

[This advertisement shares page 138 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Dupont, Choillot, Indéca, IRM and Mulin, each held here as its own record, and others for Rod 88 goggles, a P.F. parts cabinet, Monginet’s saddlebag rack for motor machines, Dissoplast repair solution and the Mochet voiturette.]
