VENTE EN GROS : COURTOT SONNIER, 21, RUE DE CHARTRES, NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE

[A ruled advertisement in a heavy frame with a rounded upper right corner, its left side formed by a dashed vertical line that ends in two arrowheads pointing toward each other above and below a drawing. “Quand ils le connaîtront…” is set in very large italic roman at the head. Below it the text sits in a column at the right in bold italic and roman type, with three bold sans-serif headings. The name “COURSON” appears twice as a logotype of rounded capitals with a Z-shaped stroke, small at mid-page and very large at the lower right. At the lower left a line-engraved drawing shows a combined rear reflector and lamp housing on a mudguard, its round face covered in a pattern of small dimples. The wholesaler’s line runs along the foot. A “PS” monogram in a small oval, with the number 181 beneath it, stands in the upper left corner outside the frame. Text from the reverse of the leaf shows faintly through the head of the panel.]

[This advertisement shares page 24 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Packson and Montcoudiol, each held here as its own record, and one for the Guiller motorcycles.]
