[A wide ruled advertisement. A black band across the head carries “Incassable, Inoxydable” in white brush-script letters, ending in a slanted black wedge with the small white words “MARQUE ET MODÈLE DÉPOSÉS” running up its edge. Beneath it four lines in stepped sans-serif type, the key words in bold capitals, descend from left to right. At the left a large line-drawn bicycle mudguard in white on a black ground curves like an arch, with a pointed tip at the top, a small bullet-shaped lamp above it, a stay rod and a pattern of scalloped decoration along its crown. A cream oval lettered “En alliage léger” in black brush script overlaps its lower right. At the upper right the initials “O.G.I.” stand in very large black roman capitals above a scrolled outline panel holding four lines of spaced capitals. Below the panel “GARDE-BOUE pour cycles” is set in bold italic and light italic, then the firm name “R.CAGNION” in heavy black capitals between two hatched bars, with a small star in the upper bar. A black band at the foot carries the street address and telephone in white type. A signature reading “Jean Pernot” runs vertically along the lower left edge. A narrow boxed strip of letters, apparently S O S P, shows at the extreme right edge.]

[This advertisement shares page 90 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Torpedo, held here as its own record.]
