BOURRIN FRERES
14, Rue Basse-des-Rives, SAINT-ÉTIENNE
présente ses nouvelles ROUES LIBRES
triple et quadruple denture (départ 13 dents)
à roulements annulaires
entièrement démontables
sans l’aide d’outil spécial
[Design: a ruled frame. Under the firm name, set very large in condensed bold capitals (the “F” of “FRERES” taller than the rest), a halftone photograph or retouched drawing shows a four-speed freewheel in three-quarter view, its sprockets stacked behind a flat-sided threaded body. The body face is stamped with lettering around the bore that reads approximately “HIRY’S [?] 402 [?]” above and “BTÉ S.G.D.G.” below, with a four-pointed star at each side. The closing lines are set below the photograph, “entièrement démontables” in bold and underlined by a rule. No signature or agency mark.]
[This advertisement shares page 28 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Lucien Michard and Promo-Vichy, C.L.B. and Ateliers du Dorlay, each held here as its own record.]
