[A ruled advertisement in black and white within a thin rectangular frame. The heading is set in large roman capitals, with the mark in quotation marks, and two lines of bold italic capitals sit beneath it. The center of the panel is a large engraved drawing of a multi-sprocket freewheel seen at an angle, drawn in fine vertical hatching that gives a metallic shading. Three sprockets of graduated size stand behind the hub, and the hub face carries embossed lettering round its ring reading “HIRY’S”, “BREVETÉ”, “S.G.D.G” and “DEMONTAGE” with two arrows. The patent line is set vertically in spaced capitals at the left and “ET DANS TOUS LES PAYS” vertically at the right. The maker’s name and address close the panel in bold roman type, with a superscript abbreviation. No signature or agency mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 120 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Carrara, held here as its own record, and others for Arcoll repair solution and Fyloil oils and the order form for the 1953 Motocyclocatalogue.]
