[A large advertisement in black and white built on a dark wedge-shaped panel that slopes down from the upper left, with the light ground showing above and below it. At the upper left a white eight-pointed star frames a circled letter W. Beneath it a long strip of roller chain is drawn in line engraving with hatching, laid diagonally from the lower left to the upper right and shown as a light band on the dark panel; the firm’s name WIPPERMANN runs in heavy capitals along its upper edge. White lettering on the panel names two product lines in tilted capitals with small script. At the right two pedals are drawn in halftone and line within white outlines: a block pedal with a cross-hatched rubber tread, seen from the side with its threaded spindle, and a flatter ribbed sport pedal with a slotted cage seen at an angle. A line of heavy italic capitals runs across the head of the sheet, with a light capitals line beneath it. The distributor’s name and address are set in light roman type below the panel, and a small boxed mark reading SOSP stands vertically at the lower right corner. No artist signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 68 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for E.D, held here as its own record.]
