[A tall ruled advertisement in a thin single frame. A hand-lettered script line, “Un grand succès du Salon !”, runs across the head, over “LES SPÉCIALITÉS” in light roman capitals. The brand name “Vynex” fills the upper middle in very large script letters filled with a halftone dot screen and a shadow. Below it three line drawings in a row show a coil of cable housing with a threaded ferrule, a gridded handlebar grip standing upright and a coil of lighting wire with a hook at each end, each labeled in roman or script type. A second script line closes the body, and a black band across the foot carries the maker’s name and town in white capitals. A tiny vertical credit line, “PUB. S.O.S.P”, reads up the right edge beside the brand name; this is an advertising agency mark. There is no artist signature.]
[This advertisement shares its unnumbered page of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Argaud, Delangle, Mazoyer, Cadres Gloria, Securit, Ruhier, Répar-Witt, Lucien Clément, Berger, Chaplait and Tendil, each held here as its own record, and others for the Derny auxiliary engine and the Stark self-adjusting bearing.]
