[A full-page advertisement printed in black and a vermilion red on a cream ground. A slanting black band across the top carries “garde-boue Carters” in white flowing script at the left and the brand name “STyLL” in very large white geometric sans-serif capitals, the y in lowercase. Below it a red field on the left and right is separated by a large curved cream area that holds the list of product names in spaced light sans-serif capitals, each name joined by a thin black leader line to its drawing. The drawings are line engravings with fine hatching, left white against the red: at the upper left a long arched motorcycle mudguard shaded dark along its inner curve, below it a narrower arched steel mudguard with two stays, then two angled chain-case guards, one a bent open shell and one a longer forked shell with a scalloped lower edge, then the rounded tip of a heavy-bordered mudguard; at the right three deep rounded mudguards run in from the edge, one with ribbed bands, one with a row of small slotted openings along its crown and the last a slimmer arch with a small lamp bracket on its top and a curled end. The signature “G.GEDO” in thin italic capitals sits beside the second mudguard at left and a boxed monogram-style signature reading “Rebour” sits at the right above the last mudguard. A second slanting black band across the foot holds “FABRICATIONS RÉALISÉES PAR LA SOCIÉTÉ” in white capitals with “SEDA” in very large white capitals, and the address and telephone line beneath in white bold type; the stand and hall line sits below the band in bold black type.
