STAND n° 280. Parc Expos. : Hall du Cycle.

[An upright panel inside a plain black rule, printed in black on the untinted paper. The head line is set in bold sans-serif capitals, the first word heavier and letter-spaced. Below it the brand fills the width in a very large black-letter lettering with swelled strokes and a curled tail on the first letter, flanked at the left by two short lines of bold capitals and at the right by two more, one pair to each side of the name. Two lines of letter-spaced italic capitals follow, the upper one between dashes. The lower half carries a large line engraving of a center-pull caliper brake seen from the front and slightly to the left, the arms, the center bolt, the cable anchor and the two shoe holders with their rubber blocks modeled in fine engraved hatching and stipple, with raised figures cast into the left arm and into the center of the yoke that read as a short word and the number 50. A triangular patch of engraved vertical strokes lies under the drawing at the right as a cast shadow. To the right of the brake the fittings are listed in a sloped sans-serif, a three-line group above a short rule and a three-line group below it. A rule closes the panel above the last two lines: the firm’s name and town in large bold sans-serif capitals, then the stand number, the ground and the hall in smaller bold capitals and lower case. No second color is used and no signature or agency mark appears. The last word of the closing line is broken in printing.]
