[An advertisement in black on a tan ground, drawn in line and hatched engraving. The headline “LES BILLES DE PRÉCISION” is set in very large, heavy, slanted sans-serif capitals on a rising arc that runs from the lower left over the top to the lower right. Inside the arc a large sphere is drawn as a plain circular outline with fine concentric hatching, and the letters “SIM” stand across it as big shaded block capitals with an engraved edge. On top of the sphere, small black silhouettes of a helmeted motorcyclist and two cyclists ride along its upper curve, the motorcyclist largest at the left. Down both sides of the sheet runs a column of small outlined balls, each with a crescent highlight, five at the left and seven at the right, the lowest right ball cut by the white-on-black band below. Below the sphere a short text block in a widely spaced, rounded sans-serif is centered, with the first three lines wider than the last two. A solid black band across the foot carries the company name in large white capitals and two lines of white address type below it. No artist signature is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 192 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for Campagnolo and Beaussuzet, each held here as its own record, and one for Vickers.]
