[A ruled-free advertisement set on an arc. The words “LES BILLES DE PRÉCISION” climb in heavy slanted black capitals around the upper half of a large circle, as though following the rim of a ball. Inside the circle the letters S, I and M stand in outlined, shaded block capitals with fine hatching, drawn as the ball’s face. Along the top of the circle three small line-drawn figures travel on it: a rider on a motorcycle at the left and two cyclists in profile to the right. Down both sides runs a column of small drawn balls, each shaded with a crescent, growing smaller toward the foot. Beneath the circle five lines of spaced italic sans-serif type are centered. A black band at the foot carries the company name in large white capitals and two address lines in smaller white bold type. No signature or artist mark is visible.]

[This advertisement shares page 98 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Union, held here as its own record, and others for the Bauriat rear seat for motor machines and the Macombynn motorcyclist overall.]
