[A full-page advertisement without a frame, printed in black and a second color, a light green. The head of the page is cut by a long diagonal: a solid black triangle at the right carries two lines of white, the first in a broad brush script and the second in a light sans serif, with the trade name beyond them in very large white capitals drawn in perspective and shaded to stand off the ground; a green triangle at the left carries the two city names in white capitals, equally large and in perspective, running down to the left. A green circle overlaps the foot of the black triangle and holds a six-line claim in black roman and bold. From the point where the two triangles meet a fan of fine green rays opens across the middle of the page, and a bicycle chain is drawn across them in black line engraving, hatched and modeled link by link, running from the upper right down to the lower left with the brand stamped on its side plates. A long rectangular box, ruled in thin black and tilted up to the right, crosses the chain and carries the production figure in heavy black lower case. Three lines of roman stand at the right below it. A green panel with rounded corners fills the foot: the two chain names are set across it in very large bold black capitals, each with its use beside it in two lines of white italic capitals, and under them a line of black brush script in quotation marks, the last word larger and underscored. The Salon line is set in letter-spaced roman below the panel on the white paper. No signature or agency mark appears.]
