[A small upright advertisement in a heavy black frame. The slogan opens with a large plus sign and a large minus sign set before the lines “DE RENDEMEN[…]” and “D’EFFORT….”, in light outlined italic capitals; the product line follows in bold capitals. The name “J. RUHIER” is reversed out in white on a broad black band. The list of products and the address sit in a panel ruled at each side with a thin wavy line. The right-hand edge runs into the binding in the BnF’s photograph: the frame’s right side, the ends of “RENDEMEN[…]” and “COURROIE[…]” (probably “RENDEMENT” and “COURROIES”) and the right edge of the final “R” of the reversed name are lost or partly lost. No drawing, signature or agency mark.]
