[A full-column advertisement. The headline is set in large black display lettering. Below it, against a ground of close horizontal rules, a shaded drawing with heavy black cast shadows shows four lighting items: at the left a bottle dynamo with its clamp bracket, the body carrying the diamond “ROB” mark and the release knob lettered “TIREZ”; beside it a rear lamp with a round faceted reflector lens; at the upper right a domed rear lamp; and in front a large bullet-shaped headlamp with its mounting lug. “Fabrique de pédales de luxe” runs in brush script below the drawing. At the foot a solid black band carries “ROBERT” in white slab-serif capitals with “FRERES” in small condensed capitals, ending in a large white diamond holding the “ROB” trademark, the letters R, ROB and B stacked so that “ROB” reads both across and down; the town and telephone line runs below in spaced capitals. Signed “DEL.” at the lower right of the drawing.]

[This advertisement shares page 16 of L’Officiel du cycle with an advertisement for Cyclo, held here as its own record, and one for the Gurtner Cyclovox horn for vélomoteurs.]
