[A small landscape panel printed as a solid black field with every line reversed out in white, a thin white rule running just inside its edge. The firm’s name heads the panel in large white sans-serif capitals with a long white rule beneath it, and the street, town and telephone follow on one line in a white brush lettering mixed with bolder capitals for the town. At the center the trademark is drawn as a white outlined oval holding the brand in heavy white capitals, the word MARQUE curved above it and DÉPOSÉE curved below, both in small letter-spaced capitals. From each side of the oval a long white outlined banner with pointed ends runs out to the panel edge, the left one lettered in a white script and the right one in the same script. The lower half of the panel is given to the four product lines, one to a line in very large white sans-serif capitals that fill the width. No drawing of a product appears, no second color is used and the agency mark “PUB. S.O.S.P.” is set in very small white capitals reading upward in the right margin. The black field is scuffed in places, with pale patches at the left edge and across the lower left corner.]
[This advertisement shares page 174 of L’Officiel du cycle with advertisements for CLB, Marvel and Bluemel’s, each held here as its own record, and others for P.C. plug caps, the Mochet voiturette and S.I.F. forks for cyclomoteurs.]
